I decided to build this website as both a way of teaching myself about web design and because it is something that I know about.  After my first panic attack I began searching for answers to my problem and looking for a way to “fix me”.  It quickly became apparent to me that there was a lot of misinformation around.  Doctors were quick to prescribe anti depressants (but I wasn’t depressed!) and ridiculously expensive therapists that hadn’t a clue what they’re doing.

I learnt a lot on the journey and have now been panic free for just on two years.  I hope to build this website into a resource that will help others who are in a similar situation to the one I was in a few years ago.  There is help available and you will get better.  Don’t stop searching until you do.

Be sure and read my article on the swish pattern, especially if there are specific types of situations that can bring on a panic attack for you.  The technique has been around only for a few decades but is incredibly powerful.  I don’t know why so few psychologists use it or know about it.
